103: Drifting Along

Standard

Day 103. April 12, 2012

There’s a peculiar fountain inset into the ground that no longer runs on campus but fills with water during the rain giving the illusion of functionality. From far away it appears that a dandelion had found a way to root itself in the stone basin, blooming a bright yellow flower, floating on top of the stagnate water.

But upon further inspection the flower had been placed there by someone else, a foreign object brought into the scene to die away as the water dried.
