Installation outside of Lawrence Hall that caught my eye while wandering about campus on this beautiful day.
It is always a joyful experience to come across art in a public space. It is unexpected. You walk into a gallery for the purpose of viewing art, but when art comes into the public it forces people to look up from their phones & take a second to realize the world around them. Even if it’s only for a few moments. We forget so easily that there are millions of people around us, that we are not the only ones in this world – that there are greater things to be done, greater things to accomplish, greater things to do with our time & money than to spend it on ourselves.
